Ta!

So after at least 5 failed attempts at writing a blog with any regularity, here I am again. Perhaps my issue in the past was feeling the need to maintain relationships with people I found annoying. Like 50% of the people who use LiveJournal. The ones who demand that you leave them thoughtful comments about posts involving what their ex-best friend's husband's parole officer told them about doughnuts. Or expect you to pray for their eight year old hamster. Maybe I just don't really like interacting with the internet people in an environment where what matters is the number of witty monikers on ones friends list.

Zo. Vat I do is start new blog.

Possible topics of digital conversation include:
- How I am a music snob with friends who only listen to top 40 (which, okay, but let's talk about Pavement and Sondre Lerche and the Dandy Warhols instead) and whatever I'm listening to at the moment. By music snob, I do not mean that I refuse to listen to anything that more than 5 people have ever heard of... those are music assholes and belong on a whole other plane of obnoxious. I just feel like whatever I like is actually worth listening to and not throwaway crap that sounds like last year's throwaway Now That's What I Call Music compilation. That last sentence makes me sound like a twat, but whatever. Music snob.
- Graphic Design. This being my new chosen career (unsatisfied with being office bitch forever? Yes sir.) I'm a little obsessed with it. http://www.katemoon.us/ is a link you will see often, for it is my own.
- Current events. Obviously. Because who doesn't?
- Whatever else. Sometimes I get bored before I finish my lists.
